ABOUT:

The COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the significance of health and nutrition. Given the prevalence of misinformation on this topic, it is essential that individuals educate themselves about the fundamentals of general health and nutrition.

​

There is no one size fits all approach when it comes to a nutrition program. Nutrition planning requires an in-depth understanding of the requirements of the individuals and the gaps that need to be filled concerning it. Gaining an understanding of the "why" and "how" of nutrition will allow individuals to make informed decisions about their dietary choices, and differentiate between fad diets and the marketing ploys of products that make unverified claims.

 

I possess the following qualifications:

  • Master's in Sports Nutrition (University of Mumbai)

  • Diploma in Sports Nutrition (International Olympic Committee)

  • Certificate in Nutrition for Football (FC Barcelona)

  • Clinical Nutrition Certification (American College of Sports Medicine)

  • Throughout my career, I have observed a lack of awareness and understanding among people concerning their health, which I intend to bridge across all age groups while keeping their fitness and health objectives in mind.

  • I tailor my services to accommodate clinical conditions, weight loss, muscle gain, improved athletic performance, lifestyle modifications, and plain and simple weight loss, utilizing an extremely personalized and scientific approach.

  • Given the plethora of stimuli in today's world, eating behaviors, and the psychology of eating unconsciously influence us all. Separating these factors from nutritional requirements is critical, and I specialize in comprehending the psychology of eating.

  • Concerning athletes, the services I cater to include-Periodized Nutrition (tailored nutrition approach to changing training loads), Nutrition for altering Body composition, Rehabilitation Nutrition for Recovery from Injury, Travel & Match/Competition-day nutrition strategies for optimal performance- ALL THIS BEING DONE WHILE ENSURING OPTIMAL HEALTH OF THE ATHLETE.

  • I conduct sessions via video call or telephone in a secure, non-judgmental, and confidential environment where you and I will collaborate to achieve your objectives. The number of sessions and dietary plan adjustments is dependent on individual needs and may differ from one person to the next, as well as from one plan progression to the next.

The Basics of Eating healthy- Workshop

This 2 hr workshop is useful for you if you are someone who: 

​

~Is interested in understanding food and exploring their relationship with food. 

~Overeats or binge eats and might struggle to control their weight

~ Would describe themselves as an emotional eater or ‘comfort’ eater

~ Tends to eat mindlessly and on ‘autopilot’

~ Self-sabotages when following a diet

~ Has had enough of restrictive weight loss diet plans and is in need of some inspiration and tips to help them eat in a more  balanced, healthy and enjoyable way

~ Is interested in learning about physiology (food, appetite and the body, and nutrition for mental health/brain function and weight management).

The workshop will address all of the above issues and help you come up with simple practical solutions. â€‹

NOTE: It does not involve the prescription of a diet plan. But it helps in addressing hurdles to eating healthy and what eating healthy actually means.
